Dr Nikky 2

Modupe Oladeji, Optometrist

Dr. Modupe (“Nikky”) Oladeji has over two decades experience in the eye care profession. She is board certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry and in the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA) in Canada.  Dr. Oladeji has over 25 years of clinical experience both overseas and here in Canada in the area of Ocular health & therapeutics, Contact lenses, Pediatric, Geriatric, Primary Care, and Refractive Surgery Co-management.

She obtained her Optometry degree in 1992 and also had a Masters Degree in Vision Science at the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo.

Having worked as an associate as well as co-managed optometric clinics, Dr. Oladeji decided to take her passion to the next level by setting up the St. Clair & Bathurst Clinic. She works closely with area family physicians, pediatricians, and eye surgeons.

Dr. Oladeji in 2017 expanded her practice to include In office Vision Therapy that caters to patients of all ages. She is a Fellow of the College of Optometry in Vision Development (FCOVD). Other areas of interest includes Dry Eye Treatment and Myopia Control

Dr. Oladeji attends continuing education conferences on an annual basis to maintain currency in all aspects of vision science. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in patient care and education.

Dr. Oladeji enjoys several extra-curriculum activities, being an active volunteer/sponsor in various charitable groups as well as involved with various musical organizations.

Office Manager (PVTAP, CCOA)

Carin began her journey at Clairhurst Eye Care over 10 years ago. She became a CCOA (Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant) in 2011. 

To further expand her expertise and dedication to the eye care world. She later found her passion in Vision Therapy and became PVTAP-certified in 2018. She continues to expand her knowledge by attending continuing education courses and conferences.  She is passionate about empowering individuals and helping them achieve their goals so that they may enhance their quality of life.
